Late Policy
5-15 min late: $10
$2/minute additional after 15 min late.
Being late to pick up your child is very disrespectful to me. Just as you can't be late to work and you can't be late to pick your child up from school, you can not be late to pick your child up from child care.
If the weather is severe, please try to leave a few minutes early from work to allow yourself additional driving time.
Fees
Full Time: $37/day
Part Time: $40/day
1/2 Days: $25/day
Definitions
Full Time Care: Child care arranged on a set schedule of 5-10 hours per day and 5 days per week. Vacation time of 10 days per year unpaid to provider. Provider entitled to paid stat holidays. Deposit required.
Part Time Care: Child care arranged on a set schedule of 5-9.5 hours per day for less than 5 days per week. Vacation time of 5 days per year unpaid to provider for children attending 4 days per week Children attending less then 4 days a week are not entitled to unpaid vacation. Stat holidays are paid to provider if the holiday falls on a scheduled child care day. Deposit required. Part time child care occupies a full time position.
Casual Care: Child Care set on availability for the day requested. Provider is not entitled to holiday pay. No deposit required.
Holding Fee: When I agree to hold an opening, I give up the right to fill that position and receive full fees from that position. For this reason, a non-refundable holding fee is required to hold an opening when a child's start date is more than 2 weeks after enrollment. This fee is half of of the regular weekly fee. Holding fees are due on the Monday of each week. If payment is not received by Monday evening (or alternate arrangements haven't been made), the spot becomes available.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit in the amount of one week of care is required to hold your child's spot. Your deposit will go against your child's first week of care.
Please note the following information about child care fees:
* Fees are due on Friday for the following week. Services are prepaid. This allows me to prepare and purchase supplies for the upcoming week. It also protects me and my family in the unlikely event that a family chooses not to pay for care.
* Payments can be made weekly, bi-weekly etc., which ever is best for
each individual family.
* Monthly cheques are made out for the number of weeks in a month, not the number of days in a month.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT ME IN THE POSITION TO ASK FOR MY PAY.
Vacation Days
Parents
are required to notify me of their holiday plans at least 2
weeks in advance to allow for activity and budget planning. Parents will
not be responsible for their fees for 10 holiday days. Rates will be
charged to hold a child's space, for any holidays taken beyond the 10
days.
Sick Days
Fees are due when your child is away from care due to illness. You are paying to hold your child's spot. If I am sick, you do not pay for care.
NSF Cheques:
A $25 charge will be applied to your account for all cheques returned as well as any bank fees I incur.
Withdrawing your child
4 weeks written notice is required. Please allow me the time I need to fill your child's spot.
