Nutrition

Children will receive a nutritious lunch and morning and afternoon snack. I will prepare a monthly menu and post this information on this website and on the parent information board. If a change is made to this plan I will record this information in your child's journal.


Milk, juice, or water will be served with all meals. Water will be available and encouraged throughout the day, particularly in the summer months.


Please let me know what your child's favourite dish is and I will add it to the menu!

Snack: yogurt & granola
Lunch: chicken & rice casserole with broccoli
Snack: cheese &  whole wheat crackers
w/apple slices



Snack: home made granola bars
Lunch: turkey wraps & vegetable soup
Snack: grapes & whole wheat crackers



Snack: oatmeal & grapes

Lunch: spaghetti  & meatballs

Snack: broccoli and red peppers with dip

 


Snack: blueberries and cheerios with 2% milk
Lunch: home made mac & cheese with tomato soup, milk
Snack: bits & bites with cucumber


Snack:croissants, fruit cocktail
Lunch: Tuna & cheese melt, whole grain buns, milk

Snack: Cheese & whole wheat crackers

Snack: cheese omelet
Lunch: Chicken & dumplings (M&M's)
Snack: Veggie platter/dip.


Snack: English muffins with jam or honey, grapes
Lunch: turkey, potatoes, carrots
Snack: pears w/honey graham crackers


Snack: 12 grain bread w/fruit cream cheese
Lunch: tuna noodle casserole
Snack: apples with dip, whole wheat crackers


Snack: Carrot Muffin, apple slices
Lunch: Ham, potatoes, broccoli
Snack: Oatmeal cookies, yogurt


Snack:
Grapes, bagel & light cream cheese
Lunch: Pizza w/garlic bread
Snack: Cheese & crackers

Fruit salad, granola bar
Lunch:
chicken casserole (Rice, corn, peas, cream. soup)
Snack: Bran muffin, home made raspberry milkshakes


Snack:
French toast, apple
Lunch: Chicken parmesan, caesar salad.
Snack: veggies w/dip, cinnamon bread



Snack: honey nut cheerios w/milk, strawberries
Lunch: Chicken nuggets, pasta in alfredo sauce, broccoli.
Snack: plums, bread sticks


Snack: egg wraps with cheese
Lunch: spaghetti w/meat sauce, garlic bread, veggies & dip
Snack: yogurt & granola, grapes


Snack: apples with dip, graham crackers
Lunch: Beef tacos w/rice
Snack: cucumbers, crackers

Lunch: Ham & cheese melt on a bun, carrots, cucumber
Snack: pudding, ritz crackers


Snack: apple slices w/peanut butter

Lunch: Chicken & cheese quesadillas

Snack: Apples w/ caramel dip





Snack: oatmeal, applesauce

Lunch: hot dogs & kraft dinner

Snack: cheese strings, grapes, crackers


Snack: orange slices, french toast

Lunch: chicken nachos, fruit tray

Snack: peanut butter sandwich


Snack: cheerios w/bananas

Lunch: chicken burgers w/pasta.
